This frozen margarita recipe made with crushed ice, 2 tots Tequila, 1 tot Triple Sec and 15ml lime juice is a summery twist on the classic Mexican party drink.

Ingredients: Equipment:
These ingredients are per person, but I always make a big jug full! Multiply as desired!
  • Crushed Ice
  • 1 Slice of Lemon/Lime
  • 2 tots Tequila
  • 1 tot Triple Sec or Cointreau
  • 3 tsp/15ml Lime Juice
  • Coarsely Ground Sea Salt
(Serves 1)


  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Margarita Glasses
Preparation Time: 5 minutes



How To Make This Frozen Simple Margarita Recipe:


  • Use your finger to coat the rims of your glasses with lime or lemon juice.

  • Pour the coarse salt into a saucer and dip the rims of the glasses into the salt to create a salt encrusted rim.

  • Mix the crushed ice, Tequila, Triple Sec/Cointreau and lime juice in a cocktail shaker.

  • Pour the slush into the glasses.

  • Cut the slice of lemon or lime in half and wedge the pieces in the ice.
