Basic White Bread Recipe
It would be difficult to find an easier bread recipe than this one. Just measure out the ingredients, throw them into the bread pan and press start - it's as simple as that.
Set your timer so that the bread is ready when you are - it's best eaten straight after baking with oodles of butter!
This easy bread recipe makes use of a bread machine. If you don't have one you don't know what you're missing. Once you add a bread maker to your list of kitchen helpers, there's absolutely no reason not to wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread every morning.

Add the water and vegetable oil to your bread maker pan.
Next add the dried milk, sugar and salt.
Layer the flour over the wet ingredients to create a barrier between the wet ingredients and the yeast. (Particularly important if you are using the timer.)
Sprinkle the yeast on top of the flour.
Set your machine to the 'basic' or 'white' setting.
Set loaf size to 'medium'.
Choose your desired crust color: light, medium or dark.
Set your timer if required.
Press START.
For best results remove the bread from the pan immediately after baking and allow to cool for 20 minutes before slicing.
