Parmesan Pita Dippers
There's a real race to the table when I bring these out - my kids love them. Be warned you will never be able to make enough of these easy party appetizers!
Luckily for you they're dead easy and quick to make - a quick and easy recipe that will soon become one of your favorites.
Parmesan Pita Dippers with a bowl or two of dip is a great way to start a family barbeque or dinner with friends and a gorgeous serving platter is an absolute must for the occasion.
20 Inch Square Serving Platters

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F/ 230 degrees C
Cut each pita bread into quarters. (12 pieces in all.)
Using a sharp knife cut through the middle of each quarter slicing it in two. (24 pieces in all.)
Lay the pieces sliced side up on a non-stick cookie sheet. (You may need more than one depending on the size.)
In a small saucepan heat the butter and oil over a medium heat.
Add the garlic and herbs and saute for approx. 15 seconds.
Remove the butter mixture from the heat and brush over the sliced pita breads.
Sprinkle finely grated parmesan over the top.
Bake for about 10 minutes until crisp and lightly browned.
Transfer to a cooling rack.
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
